MWC 2015

UI Design
Project Overview
In late 2015, our Spark Design Studio was commissioned by Huawei to design UI interfaces for their SaaS business at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

The project was a team effort, and we completed over 20 page designs within one week. Our work provided strong support for Huawei's successful exhibition at MWC.
My Role

At that time, as a junior UI designer, my main job responsibilities included:

  • Participate in determining the visual design style
  • Design the required icons for the interface
  • Design related extension interfaces (application details display page)
In the main visual design, we adopted blue combined with a highlight effect to emphasize a sense of technology, while incorporating a neuron pattern representing data connections in the background to enhance the technological atmosphere of the entire interface.

In terms of shape design, we chose an irregular right-angle card style, which distinguishes the content of each module and enhances the three-dimensional effect of the interface through shadow effects, providing a better visual experience on large screens.

Design Showcase

UI Design-MWC 2015
First, I had the opportunity to participate in defining the visual style, which gave me a deep understanding of how to choose and match colors, graphics, and other elements based on the usage scenario and brand image.

Secondly, designing interface icons and related extended interface content honed my creative thinking and attention to detail, making me more focused on the practicality and aesthetics of design.

Additionally, through close collaboration with team members, I learned effective communication and coordination to ensure the smooth implementation of design solutions.
